Freda Warlapinni commenced painting in the ealry 1990s. She painted her designs on bark, paper and later on canvas using both natural ochres and then following with acrylic paints.

 

Freda Warlapinni participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions over her painting career and her works are held in major collections both internationally and in Australia including the National Gallery of Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
